20th Anniversary Docktrash Party

January 28-30th, 2011

There are 125 rooms blocked, the block will expire on Jan 10th, 2010, rooms will go back into general reservations at that time.

Admission Fee : (includes Saturday night event only; buffet dinner, open bar, DTYC VIP Card, entertainment, entrance to the auction)

 

Party Info & Admission:

Free Admission Registration has expired on Jan 5th, 2011

If you book a free registration and decide to cancel after Jan 5th a $25 charge per person cancellation will apply and we will charge your credit card for that amount, we pay for admission on Jan 5th, 2010 for the FREE admissions.

  

Guest Admisssion Fee:

$65.00 after Jan 5th, 2010.

 

Schedule:

Friday Night - 8:30 Pajama Party in Armington Room

Entertainment - Terry from The Speds solo.

 

Saturday Day - Open Pool Party or enjoy Harvey's Bar and local amenities.

 

Saturday Night:

(Requires Admission Registration) 

7:00pm  Buffet Dinner

8:00 -11:00  Open Bar , call liquor, beer and wine.  Premium at a surcharge as always.

 

Buffet Dinner Menu:

Mixed garden salad with two assorted dressings

Beef Tips/ noodles

Chicken Romano

Pasta with marinara sauce

Chef’ selection of starch and vegetable

Rolls

Chef’s selection of dessert

Coffee decaffeinated coffee, tea and iced tea.

 

Cash Bar all other times. You will be able to charge to your room or open a tab with a credit card.

 

Entertainment : The Speds

 

Midnight: Chinese Auction - winning numbers with corresponding prizes will be posted on a prize board.  We have over $25,000 in prizes valued over $250 each from sponsors.  Prizes must be taken when you leave or they will be redrawn on Sunday morning for another winner.  Some of the larger prizes may require pickup at the sponsor location.

 

$20 buys 30 chances for low end prizes

$35 buys 20 chances for high end prizes over $1500 value.

 

Checks will be accepted that evening and should be written out to "The Piggyback Foundation" .

  

There will no longer be mailed out invitations, everything goes via email or a link off the facebook group so make sure we have the correct email address by clicking on the contact us  link on the navigation bar and submit .  That will help cleanup up the returns we get.

 

 

CHINESE AUCTION

SOMETHING NEW

for the 20th Anniversary Party!

One of the things added his year because of the sponsorships and the FREE admission for the Docktrash who have come to 5 parties was to have a Chinese auction. The monies solely for that go to the "Piggyback Foundation" a 501c3 non profit orgainization in the local Sandusky area which focuses on children in a family with a terminal illness or disability so they are not get left out. Our goal is to raise enough money to do a boating excursion/ outing for special needs children and their siblings. We have 2 financial institutions who will match the money we raise.

We hope everyone does the auction since most people will not be paying for entrance to the party.

We have all been very blessed over the years to be able to enjoy the pleasure of boating and thought our children are our future so it is time to give back..., since this year is our 20th anniversary now would be the time. Some examples of auction items: 10 ft dighy, free summer dockage, Patio set, A lot of vacation packages for Two, Electric fireplace set, Flat screen TV, Island Get Away Packages, Miller Ferry season pass....no auction item have a value less than $250 and we have about 100 and they come in daily....it is really amazing the support from the local businesses for this.

Thsi is NOT a bid against each other auction. You will buy an enevelope based on 2 different prize levels, walk around and put your numbers into the bags in front of the prizes. Noone can be outbid. It will be all luck, and you will only put tickets in for the items you want to enter your number into to be drawn.

We also will only have "1"  50/50 Saturday night. So it will be a big one. The profits of that will also be distributed to the Piggyback Foundation.
